Nice to see Darwin, Mary, and boys too. I think fun was had by all. There was plenty of wine and champagne flowing. Some cake flew too, but you had to be there...The sun even made an appearance for the wedding ceremony! The most impressive Soca Sisters, Steel Pan Music band, were great. Volley ball was a blast too. We all rowed or motored back to our boats after the wedding and partied some more. Dudley and I left around 7:30 a.m. on Sunday for our sail back down the Bay. It was PERFECT -- MY KIND OF SAIL! We hit 7.5 knots at times, but the current sure did help...We even saw a whale at the Bay Bridge. Hope the poor thing finds its way back out to the ocean... We sailed into Redwood City around 2:30, not bad at all... What a great weekend! See ya'll next time, if not for a wedding, for a cybercruise! ---------------------- Dudley answered: > We hit 7.5 knots at times That was while I was driving. We were clocking a steady 8.8 Kts while you were driving. > See ya'll next time, if not for a wedding, for a cybercruise! How about another CyberWeddingCruise? Let's see, which CyberCruise couple should get married... ---------------------- Charles wrote: Great weekend - I agree! I got there late, but I was still in time to get pics. They're on http://www.tasherana.com in The Last Nine Hundred, as usual. Many thanks to Lane and Chris, who helped me get there and back, in spite of several, um, complications... (suboptimal v-belt, water depth, and diesel quantity at various times) :) And it was STILL a great sailing weekend! Congrats again, Andy and Marianne! ---------------------- Sam wrote: Lisa and I decided to double hand FA (final arrival :) back. It was sooo cool. We passed everyone. I loved watching people looking over their shoulders at two of us on this monster as we tweaked and tuned to race past everything we came close to.... but to be honest we never overtook a C27.... Then we brought her into the slip, Lisa jumped off and tied two lines to cleats and we were home. We flaked the sails and coiled the lines... then had rum and cokes. Great weekend, sorry I missed the wedding, music, food, vb, and all. ---------------------- Andy wrote: Hi Folks I just wanted to thank you guys for coming to our wedding. We really had a blast. Funny how some people said in the past months they had wished they eloped looking back at their wedding and all the things they got out of it and the hassles and stuff that it entailed. NOT ! We would do it all over again in a heart beat. Although much of it was planned the crowd because of weather threat was a very genuine group and the spontaneity was hilarious. MC asked me if I had read the vows beforehand and I always gave he a muffled response. I really hadn't. She wrote them and I wanted them to be a surprise and they definitely were! The Sea of Anarchy Cybercruisers "Tactical Crew Overboard Assault Team" was way out. We had a great time and hope it was good for you, see ya when we get back. Haste Aloha Huggs to all of you Ak&mc
