We went sailing to beat the 100 degree heat at home. Setting off with almost no wind,
it looked like a cooker until we got to The Slot where it was howling. We had such a rollicking sail
across to Racoon Straights and back, that we never let go long enough to get the camera or wind guage.
Nevertheless, it was exciting and it was nice and cool.
On Wednesday, back in port, it was cool enough that we could spend several hours giving KO a
much-needed cleaning. I took care of the outside while Teresa put her cleaning skills to work down below.
Now if we can just find the time to do the teak.
